Fixed, vented, and curb- or deck-mounted skylights that turn a dark Anchorage room into a bright one.
A skylight is sized and placed for the space below it and the roof above it. Fixed units are sealed for pure daylight; vented units open to release heat and humidity from a kitchen or bath; and the mounting style — deck-mounted for a low profile or curb-mounted on a built-up curb — is matched to your roof pitch and covering.

The opening is cut and framed between the rafters, the unit is set and fastened, and then the manufacturer's flashing kit is woven into the roof covering in the correct order so water always sheds over the top of the flashing — never under it. Inside, a light shaft is framed and finished to carry the daylight down to the ceiling. The flashing detail is what separates a dry skylight from a callback.
